L.A. Trip

Scott and I recently returned from an anniversary trip to Los Angeles. We were so excited to go mainly because Scott was finally able to see the awesomest show ever to hit Broadway and beyond . . . . WICKED! While in L.A. we went to Knott's Berry Farm with my brother Scott and his family who live there (he is just starting his 2nd year of Chiropractic School). We also made it to Disney land and toured the Warner Brother's Studio Lot but spent most of our time in the heart of downtown L.A. We had tons of fun walking on the "stars," comparing hand and foot prints at Grauman's Chinese Theater, touring the Kodak Theatre (home of the Academy Awards), but most of all, we loved driving through West Hollywood & Beverly Hills to see a lot of the famous people/movie star homes. To name a few, we saw the homes of Paris Hilton, Dr. Phil, Bob Barker, the Marciano Brothers (the makers of Guess Jeans - they had 10 lamborghini's parked out front!!!), Wolfgang Puck, Sean Connery, David & Victoria Beckham, and the Playboy Mansion. The only thing that could have topped off the trip would have been to actually see a movie star but no such luck (I did get a picture with a Johnny Depp/Jack Sparrow look-a-like though). We weren't willing to stay up until 2 am to witness the next DUI charge for Paris Hilton or Lindsay Lohan.
