To celebrate the day we went on a little kayaking trip on Folly Creek. Even though it was a busy Labor Day weekend it allowed us to escape the crowds and have some piece and quiet out in nature. Scott doesn't really have a good history with kayaks, or maybe just with me and kayaks together, but he "tamed the beast" and did really well. We saw all kinds of birds, a big 12 inch moon jellyfish, a gargantuan (sp?)bananna spider, and some dolphin. Let me also not forget about the swarm of mosquitos that tried to eat us alive. We got out of the kayaks and went to explore a little island and as soon as we stepped out of the breeze they attacked!

Happy Anniversary! What a fun way to celebrate. I keep getting excited when you mention coming back to Utah in your blogs. Yeah!! :)
LOVE that last picture of the two of you! Kenny and I just celebrated our 13 year anniversary. WHAT!? We're getting old Jess. :)
Congrats! That looks like a lot of fun. Tell Scott, I have a bad history with kayaks too. He is not alone.
Happy 7 years! I love that you did something outdoors and fun for your anniversary. Great pics too! Are those spiders poisonous?? Hurry back to Utah!
oh how fun! Happy Anniversary! What a good idea to go kayaking! I have always wanted to try it - it just looks like so much fun! So my husband's uncle told me about an Urbathon (sp?) in Chicago this upcoming month (I am going back for the month of oct. fancy that!) and I SOOOO wish you all were going with me so we could do it together! It looks AWESOME. 9 mile run with city obsticles like buses to climb over, tires to dodge/run over, etc. TOO cool!
