Observation

So, I've come to know that Easton is a lot smarter than I realize. The other night I turned on Pirates of the Carribean for him to watch while I selfishly attempted to finish reading Breaking Dawn. Scott was at a church meeting. It finally got time for Easton to go to bed. Typically turning off a "pirate" movie before it is finished is grounds for disaster. But, I told him we would "pause" the movie (he learned all about "pausing" from Aunt Shelbee while in St. George) and could finish it the next morning. Miraculously he seemed to be okay with this. Later on that night, about an hour after Easton went to bed, he started calling for Scott. Scott went in his room to see what he wanted and returned to our room with a big smile on his face. I aksed what Easton wanted. Scott said that he wanted to make sure I paused the pirate movie. :) When Scott told him that I did he said "OK, dad" and went to sleep. By the time morning rolled around I was positive that he would have forgotten all about the movie. But after waking up and giving me a hug he asked to watch the pirate movie once again! He is one pirate-crazed kid!

Oh brother- do boys ever like their movies! Brian goes through phases where he wants to watch one movie OVER and over- it used to be Toy Story, right now it's The Incredibles. Fun, fun, fun!

Noah used to be like that. I mean, he is still smart and remembers things, but he would always ask us and remind us to do what we said we would. Dang kids!

Love it Jess! We "pause" movies all the time and make promises to start them in the same spot only to then have to spend forever in "scene selection" trying to find said spot later on. Kids are too funny. Looks like you had a fun trip home to Utah! Loved the pics. Good luck with your "moving sale." :)
