Changing of the Guard

We've had a little "changing of the guard" at our house this past week (or two). Two weeks ago Scott was called as the new Young Men's president in our ward. I remained Young Women's president for another week before I was released. It was a super sad moment. We were excited for minute thinking that we would end up with callings that were not so "involved" so that we would have more time together as a family but Scott's new calling ruined it. :0) I will get to be the CTR 6 teacher in Primary beginning in February. Though I've never been in primary and am a little worried about my patience levels, I think it will be a good change.

Wow, congrats on the new callings! :) He'll be a great YM's president, and you'll do great with the kids, I'm sure!

Wow, what a change!I think you'll enjoy Primary. It will be fun for you to see Easton in his class for part of it. It will definitely be different from what you are used to. You were a great Nursery Leader before you were YW President so you'll be wonderful in Primary. Congrats to both of you on the new callings. I'm sure Scott's a little nervous.

Jess, You'll love Primary. It's my favorite place to serve in the church. I teach CTR 7, so I bet your class will be a bit like mine. They are so smart, so funny, and so great to get along with. I have two boys who test the boundaries a bit, but I love them. You'll do great!
