This summer Grandma and I planted some sweet potatoes that Grandma started from cut potatoes. They took off and grew like wildfire! Now that it's nearing October we decided to dig up a plant or two and see how they were coming. To our surprise, they did really well and we got some football sized potatoes! :0)
UPDATE:
We finally dug up all of the potatoes and got a massive harvest! the kids lined them up and it circles around their little pool!
