And that's a wrap!

Today marked the end of the post-season for the Snow Canyon softball team. We had an incredible season this year going 20-0 before the state tournament. We won the title for Region 9!!! Our JV and Fresh/Soph teams went undefeated as well! Going in to the state tournament we had a win against Tooele and a win against Payson. Then when we got up against a tough Stansbury team it just wasn't our day. Nothing was really going for us. With a loss there, we moved to the one-loss bracket where we had to face Spanish Fork who has won the state championship for the past several years. Spanish Fork got up on us and after a few innings we answered back to within one run. Then in the next inning Spanish Fork went on a 2-out rally scoring 9 more runs. That sealed the game. We had one more at bat but could not produce anything. :0(  Final record was 22-2. Despite this sad day, it was a great couple of months with these girls. I will miss our seniors (Brytni, Mitzi, Marissa, Kenzee, Tarah) and look forward to another great season next year!
