4th of July Adventure

This year we decided to do something a little different on the 4th of July. We got adventurous and bought a paddle board and a couple of kid kayaks! We loaded up dog, baby, and all, and took out first full family outing since Drake was born to the Ivins Reservoir. :0) Paddle boarding proved to be as hard as it looked and the kids got the kayaking thing down pretty quick. Bella wasn't sure of the water so we had to "help" her take the plunge. Scott took her out a little ways on the paddle board and pushed her off. She was under for quite a bit before popping up, which was a little alarming, but up she came and panic set in. She looked like someone who had never been swimming before. Ha ha! She eventually warmed up to the water a little but still looked pretty silly when trying to swim. Hopefully she will get the hang of it soon. It was a gorgeous day!
