Picking Strawberries

It has become a fun tradition each year to go pick strawberries in the spring at the U-pick fields here in Summerville. Easton always has a blast and this year Mia got to get in on the action. I had to just sit back and chuckle as I watched her because she would squeeze the strawberry so hard when she tried to pick it that she got juice all over in her hand. Then she thought that she needed to take a bite out of each one that she picked (even the ones I picked too)! By the time we were ready to go home they were both a complete mess. I think I had to use half a bottle of Shout on their clothes to get all the red strawberry juice out. Good times though! We now have another year's worth of strawberry jam in the freezer. Here are a few pics.

Oh my! What beautiful kids you have...these are great pictures. I want to pick strawberries, and not battle snow anymore.
